The same way, we can also validate any text or date in a cell address. For example Cell address  E6, let us validate any date input should be between   01/018/2014  and 31/12/2014 only:

1. To open  Menu Data -> Data Validation  














2.To select Date and enter the Date from and Date To


































3.Enter the Input Message  

4.Enter the Error Alert
